2. Fitment & Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Verification
• Accuracy Responsibility: To ensure exact engine or transmission compatibility, customers are required to provide an accurate 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) prior to or during order placement.
• Fitment Guarantee: GearHub Auto-Parts LLC verifies compatibility against official manufacturer databases. If an order is placed without VIN verification or with incorrect vehicle specifications provided by the buyer, the buyer assumes full financial responsibility for return freight and restocking fees.

3. Pricing, Orders & Payment Processing
• Card Payments & Payment Gateways: Online credit/debit card payments are securely processed through encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. By submitting your payment details, you authorize us and our merchant processor to charge the total order amount.
• Fraud Prevention & Verification: To protect against credit card fraud, GearHub Auto-Parts LLC reserves the right to request additional verification (such as government-issued ID matching the billing address or VIN documentation) before fulfilling high-value powertrain orders.
• Invoicing & Custom Quotes: Orders initiated via custom quote will be finalized through standard electronic invoicing. Payment must be cleared in full before parts are dispatched for freight shipping.
• Pricing Errors: We reserve the right to correct any pricing or typographical errors and cancel orders resulting from inaccurate inventory listings.

4. Freight Shipping & Delivery Terms
• Delivery Timeline: Standard freight deliveries typically take 7 to 8 business days once the carrier picks up the unit and marks it Out for Delivery.
• Commercial vs. Residential Delivery: Heavy freight (engines and transmissions) requires a commercial address equipped with a forklift/loading dock, or residential liftgate service.
• Inspection Upon Delivery: The recipient must inspect the freight pallet and unit for visible transit damage before signing the freight Bill of Lading (BOL). Damage reported after signing without notation on the carrier receipt may void carrier insurance claims.

5. Warranties, Returns & Replacements
• Warranty Coverage: Engines and transmissions are backed by our explicit warranty terms (subject to installation by an ASE-certified technician and proper fluid priming).
• Returns & Replacements: Returns and warranty replacements are governed by our official Return Policy. Unapproved returns or altered/disassembled units will not be accepted.

6. Limitation of Liability & Chargebacks
• Installation & Labor Charges: GearHub Auto-Parts LLC is a supplier of replacement parts and is not liable for indirect damages, labor costs, vehicle rental fees, or loss of income resulting from part installation or delays.
• Dispute Resolution & Chargebacks: Customers agree to contact customer support directly to resolve any order, fitment, or delivery issues prior to initiating a credit card dispute or chargeback with their bank.
